On 2002/08/31 20:33, percyval posted thus to the K-list: hello Rob,

perhaps what you are getting at is what many of us here on this list refer
to as "surrender" to Kundalini... very few here (if any) would actively
attempt to be "using K to influence people, to get what you want..."... so
i'm not sure why you got that impression...

i'm not even sure that K would let itself be used in such a manner, although
Chi or Prana can be used this way if that is what one wishes to do...

the owner of this list, Mystres Angelique Serpent, is my teacher... and her
main emphasis is on surrendering to Kundalini in order to let K transform
our lives into active conscious expressions of Spirit here in this world...
this has helped me more than i could attempt to describe in words...

i suggest that you may want to look through some her material about
Kundalini that can be found at:
http://www.domin8rex.com/serpent/spirit/kindex.htm

there is also a wealth of information on the list's website:
http://www.kundalini-gateway.org

much of the talk on the list is about how folks deal with many of the
difficult side-effects that often occur as Kundalini clears out the karmic
debris that is keeping it from flowing though us freely... in many ways,
this list is mostly here to support folks through this process, rather than
to teach about how to get K to awaken...

it is in the list guidelines that all paths are to be respected, which
includes Chritianity... and the list's site has a section of links about
"Christianity, Gnosticism and Kundalini" which you may find helpful:

http://www.kundalini-gateway.org/links02.html#Christianity,%20Gnosticism%20a
nd

there has occasionally been some anti-Christian feeling expressed on the
list... it has almost exclusively been expressed by folks like me, who had
our natural K flow repressed by our early Christian upbringings... although
as you can see in some of the links mentioned in the last paragraph, many
people have found a wonderful resolution of these difficulties, and are able
to express their Kundalini Awakening in a Christian paradigm...

warmly,

percyval

> What I am not sure is common to K (someone please correct me if I'm
wrong), is that there is a lot of exaltation, but not much humbling. A
sense of getting to the top of the spiritual pyramid, but nothing about
being at the bottom.

make it better. In my experience, it came from without, it has always done
its 'own thing,' I have no clue how to turn it on or off, modify or control
it. As a matter of fact, the very idea of doing these things has no meaning
to me.

Divine) doing it. If a paranormal event occurs, it is due to the action of
K. I am a spectator, and don't have the slightest idea how these things
happen, it boggles me.

influence people, to get what you want. This is akin to spiritual rape. Of
course the K in you can and will influence others, but your own will must be
renounced.
