Interesting point, and no problem with it, but not at all what we were  
talking about. My comment was about shaman having teachers in all cultures I  
knew about (not any bozo walking up and calling himself one because he's  
talked to a teacher). Your remark carried an implication a about shaman who  
has/had a teacher not really being shaman.
 
You read a lot of posts I'm sure, but I suspect, call it a faith in my  
conservative and traditionalist reputation, that without much thought at  
all, you're pretty much be able to recall or just know my thoughts on "new  
agers". So it is hard to beieve you'd really think I'd ever listen to  
someone who had been to a weekend course and announced he/she was a shaman.
