Reminds of the sufi tale where Nasrudin
pesters the town wise guy with stupid
questions. One day he goes running to the
wise man asking, "I've lost my donkey!
Where is my donkey!"

The wise man, tired of Nasrudin's silly questions
replies, "Your donkey has turned into a man
who is the magistrate in the next town over."

Nasrudin travels to the next town and goes up to the
magistrate,"Come back with me at once you stupid beast!"
to which the magistrate replies, "Are you mad? You
are this close to being thrown into the cells."

Nasrudin says, "I have it on the best authority that
you are my donkey."

The magistrate answers, "You are mad. No one would believe
such a foolish thing."

Nasrudin brings his eyes right before the magistrate's eyes
and replies, "I prefer to believe the authority of a wise
man instead of a donkey."

:)

Love,
David
