Thanks to you and others who have been responding to my question. I'm asking
because I've been having dreams and visualizations about being wrapped in a
shawl of diamonds and light ... has been so profound a series of dreams and
visualizations I was moved to go out and buy some silver yarn that is
wrapped with a beautiful strand of 'shiny diamond' like thread and have been
knitting a throw for my office. ... not sure where this is leading to ..

In Tibetan Buddhism the diamond body (Vajrakaya) is the fourth body,
associated with the heart center (ref. Foundations of Tibetan
Mysticism -- Lama Govinda). It is where one realizes the "totality
of his being".

A little subjective interpretation: when Kundalini reaches the heart
chakra, which opens-up with love and compassion, it is like a
gateway, and the energy rushes upward to the higher chakras. Your
conscious expands beyond the physical body and you directly
experience your Self as a body made-up of consciousness, bliss, and
light.
