up doing - I like to have luxurious juice around me. Even in my office
cubicle I have a spread and an embroidered red pillow on my guest's
chair and a Pakistani rug covering the corporate issue mauve.

and what IS it with the corporate mauve? I work for an
educational/quasi continuing ed center, still...mauve...the carpet,
the walls! i have furry light mauve walls in my office on two walls.
actually, with those really warm pinkish tinted lightbulbs in
lamplight, it's almost not terrible...

quick introduction. i'm melissa...i've been on this list for a while,
a few years, and feel compelled to jump in again..what with all the
talk of dreams and colors and fabrics....:)my attention is turning to
...surrendering...relaxing...reconnecting with spirit, the universe -
K is moving and i'm along for the ride...

color is something i so respond to and also use....in
visualizations/energywork, painting, photographs..the beautiful light
in my apartment as i type. i live in an old house with 14ft ceilings.
the walls in the living room are pale greygreen..the ornate victorian
trim around the doors and edges is offwhite. it's increditly
calming...light wood floors. my kitchen is an earthy brown. warm.
bedroom, colors i would never have imagined i would grow to really
enjoy...light warm yellow walls with trim done in a medium orange red.
of course, the mantle over the fireplace is silver! zing!
everything was this way when i moved in and i can't imagine changing
any of it. though i love Angelique's putting fabric on the walls
idea....:)

ahh..it's raining...we are in big drought in georgia (us), so i must
run out and put all my plants into the yard!
