Subject: [K-list] Joe, your unreasonable forceful reaction is due to my fate
From: rkshankar

On 2002/08/18 05:16, rkshankar posted thus to the K-list:

Dear Joe

I clearly see the Hand of Fate in your forceful responses.
I have tried to answer as clearly as possible citing references and explaining my true position.
My reply is not a reaction. But, it is fresh action springing spontaneously from within.

Thanks and kind regards
RK Shankar

" When we begin a religious pilgrimage or retreat into sadhana,
and we want awareness to dive deep within,
we have to withdraw THE ENERGY OF THE VIBRATING Ida
and THE VIBRATING Pingala CURRENT into SUSHUMNA.
This is quite a chore (unpleasant and tiring),
because these currents have had energy flowing in them for a number of years.
So, to rechannel that awareness is to rechannel the
ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE OF AWARENESS into the SUSHUMNA CURRENT."

So, the above is one of the many supports for what I said in Merging with Siva.

But, my personal experience is that I have two strong astral-vital formations in the 2 sides of my aura.
And, these formations merge at the centre in my aura somewhat around my spine, when I chant the name 'Aum KaaLi'.

>Their 2nd Guru, Sri Babuji Maharaj has stated this. Where? ISBN?
Sorry, I cannot produce this, because I do not have the book with me.
Because, the person who initiated me in Sahaj Marg, Sri Jimit Parekh, is in Botswana.
I too was in Botswana, Africa, for more than 10 years.
One day, he showed me the published diary of His Master, Sri Chariji of Sahaj Marg.
In that published diary, Sri Chariji records His Master,
Sri Babuji Maharaj's response to a certain question posed by Sri Chariji,
was that kundalini is raised by raising the Pingala nadi alone by the power of the Guru.
He is currently working in Apple Centre, in the capital city of Botswana, Gaborone.

> you don't need any external authority

I just said that my personal realisations are my concrete authority
I am irrevocably bound by them.

The experiences of Sages are no doubt true
Only when I have those experiences, I can authoritatively state about and act upon them.
For then, the actions proceed from my own inner states of realised awareness
Until then, I am believing, and therefore I will be acting upon an ideal, yet to be realised in my being.

Simply because the path followed is different, the experiences of stages may also be different.
The experiences of stages in Saivism and Integral Yoga are very different.
And, both the systems have had great Sages of repute over time.

For example, in Saivism, we have Satguru Sivaya Subramuniya Swami
And, in integral yoga, we have Sri Aurobindo.
In Advaita, we have Sri Ramana.

All are great Sages.
But, their teachings, methods and stages are different.
All have taught ancient systems.

> to insult and spit on the wisdom of thousands of years
This is your conception, rather misconception

I value tradition as well as non-tradition.
For, both have produced great Seers of all times.
For tradition, we had the Sage Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi of the Kanchi Kamakoti Shankara Peetam
For non-tradition, we had the great Seer, Jiddu Krishnamurti, who walked alone.
Tradition and non-tradition are two poles or sides of the One Infinity.
Hence, I have no need to distract you from your adhering to tradition of any kind.
For, I value them all. As a born Hindu, I value Christian tradition.
I even value Muslim tradition, although Hindus and Muslims are enemies from time immemorial.

There are many tips given by many people of different backgrounds in this List.
And, all of them are talking about Kundalini, the awakening of which I have experienced.
That is what makes me a member of this forum.
I post with the general feeling that the other members will have goodwill for me.
So, I do not take the trouble of going through the pages I have read, and typing out citations from them.
But, I can do that also, if there was the need for it.
Since you demanded it, I have done it above.

So, whatever you are thinking about me, are all simple misconceptions.
Since they have no substance in fact, I am not at all agitated by them.
In fact, I am quite surprised about these sharp reactions from you.

> you are passing off your new age creations as Vedic knowledge and
> I won't be trying to learn
> you quit it and I'll leave you alone

I am not an authority on anything.
And, I do not teach or answer anyone.
Since I do not teach, I do not also create anything.
Also, I do not have any approach to cast aside.

I just spontaneously share that is all.
And, I cannot give up what I do spontaneously.
For, spontaneity is not a process in time.
It is a formation in the present from the Root of Infinity.

Since I value both tradition and non-tradition, and I see them as two sides of the same coin of Infinity,
I have no need to persuade any one from one belief into another.
For, I am busy with my own spiritual progress, and this group has been helping me in understanding certain other things about Kundalini.
And, I am grateful to the List-owner and to all members including you for having contributed towards that growing understanding.
For example, someone had written about taking the light to the head from the left and then from the right.

Since you have blamed me in a hurry without any real substance, it cannot possibly affect me.
Your not quitting your forceful reactions will only affect you, for it is a simple wasteful drain of energy

> I believe in paying my debts to those kind traditional teachers of spirituality
It is very good to be grateful to the traditional teachers of Wisdom
But, you need not seal yourself against other modes of awareness.
