thanks. i know they are not triggered by food as they are fairly constant,
fluctuating in intensity. what really hightens the experience is flourescent
lights and tvs and monitors. the only thing that dulls them it seems is
coloured lenses.

i'm sure it has a lot to do with kundalini. the brain is the hub of the
nervous system and i think it is all tied in together somehow. if it is
possible for an individual to get passed the intensity / pain of the
experience a lot can be learned from it. after all - your senses of sight,
hearing and even smell are increased which can be seen from a positive point
of view if you have a desire to learn more about the experience and
experience more of reality. another positive is that creativity seems to be
hightened as well - or more like creative inspiration.
