Subject: [HarshaSatsangh] Looking For Something?  I noticed that
  in the notion of 'seeking'
one is prone to fall prey
  in the trap
  of a scarcity conscious perspective...
  Perhaps a better way
  to express
  the lively state of inquiry
(as perpetuated by the wise ones)
  without the sense of lack,

  might be,
in place of the word 'seeking'
  we use the word 'discovering'...?

  Maybe that better expresses
  (in our native english)
what the Buddha was trying to convey...

  (shrug)

  After all,
  it's just me
  asking
  (and discovering...)

  I wonder
  because

  once I was told
  that in order to discover
  I needed to seek first...

  But my Master said,
"Seek from a perspective of fullness
  and discover *that* spirit,

  as 'Emptiness' is full,

...and the folly
is to dream that it is empty..."

All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self. Welcome all to HarshaSatsangha.
