Dear Gregor,

You are not alone. Many of us have been through similar trials and
tribulations. At times, all I could do was just ride it out. Have
faith that you won't be pushed beyond what you can bear, although at
times it may take you right up to the limit. If you have physical
access to someone who's been through this and can counsil you, that
would probably help a lot.

How can you say your body told you to meditate if it felt like it
was being "skinned alive" and "electrocuted"? Don't meditate when
you feel sick, especially if it's respiritory or K. induced sickness.

There are many analogies for this condition in religious literature:
You can't put new wine in old bottles, baptism by fire, dark night
of the soul... Your body and mind are being transformed by spirit,
and your ego doesn't like it one bit. The initial process took over
five years to complete for me, then for the next 20 years I didn't
even want make more than a half-hearted effort. But what's 25 years
in a body when the result is the tangible realization that you are
immortal spirit?

Hang in there bro. You have been given a rare and precious gift --
even though it doesn't seem like it right now :)
