Dear Aseaman,

Strange, involuntary movements (as Jason mentioned, they are called Kriyas)
are extremely common with Kundalini. As you noted, they seem to be more
pronounced when we are relaxed or before or during sleep. Yes, they can be
extremely powerful! I believe they can become more "voluntary" if you take
up Hatha Yoga or other eastern exercises. Both the Kriyas and exercises seem
to serve the purpose of opening up pathways so the energy flows a bit easier. Welcome to the K list! :))
