On 2002/08/07 07:38, Lori Worley posted thus to the K-list: Hi

I haven't posted to this group before, but the discussion prompted me to
share an amazing lucid dream I had about a year ago.

In the dream, I was walking around a room in a house and I found a medieval
breastplate. I went to ask my Reiki healer what it was, and she said it
belonged to Joan of Ark. I put the breastplate on, lay down on a sofa with
the healer holding my feet, and suddenly I was Joan of Ark. It was like she
had overshadowed me. I was riding through the fields of France in battle, I
experienced her religious fervour and devotion, and I experienced her
resignation to her fate of burning at the stake for her principles. I
realised that I was dreaming and decided to ask her what was the most
important lesson she learned in her life. Her answer - discrimination.

I suddenly became fascinated by her life and conducted lots of research to
find that she really didn't have to die. It was down to the folly of youth
and a stubborn streak that led her to the stake, all because she refused to
wear women's clothes. It made perfect sense that I receive this message
because I had 'martyred' myself for the sake of my principles at a job where
I disagreed with the way the company was run and people were treated. While
others buttoned up, I was branded a trouble maker because I couldn't keep my
mouth shut about the injustices I saw around me. It was a blessing in
disguise that I was pushed out because I made some very important life
changes and healed a huge wound from childhood. My anger was justified to a
certain extent, but I realised that although defiance may be appropriate in
a few circumstances, there are gentler and less destructive (to me!!) ways
of achieving reform.

I asked my Reiki healer if she was aware that she was a participant in the
dream. She wasn't, but she did get up at 4:30 in the morning to meditate
(not a normal time for her to practice) and meditated very deeply. This was
about the time of my dream. I woke up from the dream feeling an incredible
pulsing energy throughout my body which lasted for about a week.

As for my Kundalini awakening, that happened in 1998 when I saw Sai Baba in
India. I leapt out of my body as soon as I saw him for the first time.
Later that holiday He healed me of a horrific neck rash (karmic
manifestation) and an unwanted pregnancy. Since then I've had a
rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, and I've just recently come out of a
six-month period of feeling like I had chronic fatigue syndrome. This
period taught me patience and acceptance of my process. A friend gave me an
image of a field that has to lie fallow before it supports the growth of
crops again, and that really helped me come to terms with this period. At
the moment I'm feeling great and ready to meet life's challenges again.

It's nice to be able to share stories with you all and not feel alone. I'm
looking forward to getting to know you better.

Cheers
Lori
