Does anyone else have weird toe stuff going on?

My right big toe seems to "act up" on occasion. It throbs, gets really sore.
 I've had days where the toenail felt like it was going to fall off, but my
toe looked perfectly normal. It gets busy when I'm trying to go to sleep and
one time it seemed that energy was coming from it and up through my body. I
was interested to see that something about the big toe was mentioned in
Energies of Transformation, but it didn't go into much detail.
