I had my first-ever lucid dream a couple of months ago. I dreamed I was in
this small room that was completely decorated in shades of red. Walls,
furnishings, art, everything was red. As I stood in this room looking
around, I realized that I was dreaming this room, but that I was AWAKE within
it. I spent a good deal of time looking around the room, still awake, then
decided to try leaving the room. I opened the door, and found that I was in
the huge lobby or atrium area of a skyscraper-type building. As I walked out
into this space, I somehow became asleep again, no longer in control. What
an interesting experience this was; I don't know whether I did something to
make it happen, but I hope it happens again!
