Where it fits into the rainbow should be in the World Book or any other  
encyclopedia. In Roy G.Biv the "b" stood for "blue" so it isn't as obvious  
as say "red" aka "r" in that mnemonic.
 
If you want to know about the colors and the chakras read Author Avalon aka  
Sir John Woodriff (sp??) his work is the authority from which everyone else  
has copied, and sometimes screwed up greatly.  There is more than one  
edition of most of his books. You'd want the one with the color plates of  
the chakras, seeing the colors is better than just reading the description.  
What does "smokey purple" look like? that is one of the chakra's, throat as  
I recall, main colors.
 
I'm trying to recall which title they are in. Not the Tantra book, nor  
Garland of Letters..... Sorry I'm not at home to check hte book shelf and it  
doesn't come quickly to mind.
