hiya folks,

i have always wondered where the color brown fit into the scheme of
things... it always seems to get left out... as a mixture of the 3 primary
colors, it should be real important... and it is certainly commonly
associated with Earth...

it is also really the true color of people.. we are really not black, white,
yellow, red, etc... we are pinkish-beige, chocolate-brown, very dark brown,
reddish-brown, and yellowish-beige. etc... and more people have brown hair
and eyes than any other color...

one book i have seen said that the color associated with the Root Chakra is
either brownish-red or reddish-brown... but that is about the only time i've
seen it talked about in spiritual books...

many years ago, i was putting on some brown socks, and absent-mindedly said
to myself, "...ahhhhh... brown..." although this was associated with a
feeling of joy and comfort, i would never had known that i said this out
loud, if it was not overheard by my ex-wife, who often teased me about it...
brown and blue are my 2 favorite colors, although i love them all, even
though i am red-green colorblind...

anyone have any thoughts or comments on the color "brown", and where it fits
into the colors of the rainbow?
