from the way you wrote I'm getting the impression, that
you are not a person, who likes to be told what she should do.
I think - and that comes from the way you phrase you words as
well as from your circumstance as you describe them (including
the fact that you seek help through a very indirect medium like
an email-list) - I think you want to take advice but then decide
for yourself what to do with it.

That's very natural, and that's the very education we all get.
But it's not very useful, because in a way it's like visiting
twenty medical doctors, witches, friends and strangers, asking
them all what to do with a certain illness one is feeling -
and then deciding on one's own what to do with all that.My experience is it, that when I am ready to take advice, it comes.

As if advice or guidance is just waiting for me to come to that
point were I'm ready to listen to it and follow it. Allthough
it may take years and years until I reach that point - usually
I first try out all other methods which don't work :-)

And the quality and intensity of the advice or help is in direct
proportion to my own attitude of accepting it. Accepting it even if
it was against my own thinking - because if the advice came in accordance
with my former thoughts and conecepts, it wouldn't be neccessary at all,
would it?Ka
