On 2002/07/23 09:28, Mystikstar33 posted thus to the K-list: I think that fear of dying must be the biggest fear humanity has. When we go
through a spiritual transformation with kundalini energy rising and start
recalling who we really are, then thoughts of death become even more
prominent to us. It is also the fear of death that may inhibit one from
recalling obes and other metaphysical adventures, as it becomes so evident
that we are more than just our physical bodies and that our consciousness
survives death. It is my belief that we all have obes, visions, etc., just
that some of us do not recall them due to our fears based on programmed
belief systems in this life or problems with metaphysical feats in
past-lives. When someone says I finally had an obe, they are really just
starting to accept and remember who they are at a conscious level. It may be
the first one they remember consciously, but certainly it is not the first
one they have ever had as they have been leaving their body since birth. For
those of you who say you have not had an obe, have you ever been in a
classroom or some place whereby you do not recall what was going on as you
feel you were not there? Think about this. We call it daydreaming and I am
sure sometimes it is this, but how many times were you not able to even
recall what you were thinking about? All you do know is you missed some time
and missed the point of the lecture or whatever was going on. To me, this
represents your traveling to other realms. Also, during this time you may
have seen scenes of other places or even of the future. You may have
disregarded it as a daydream, but if you remembered it, took note of it, you
may find it was your future(vision) or something going on at the time some p
lace(remote viewing). For example, you may have seen a scene of a fire and
then that night, found out that a fire broke out somewhere. Maybe too, it is
not even so much fear that holds us back from conscious recollection of
metaphysical adventures we have as it is the emotion attached to wanting to
be out of the physical body for good and be back "home" that blocks us.
Monroe's book "Far Journeys" discusses the sadness felt when one travels back
"home" and then has to come back to the physical realm and live it out. Just
food for thought.:) LLL, Cynthia
