 Stop using Microsoft Outlook (or Express)!!! It is the
 only mail reader that
 is so poorly designed it lets that happen.
 
 I went to hotmail to avoid it, yahoo mail or netscape
 mail will work as
 well.
 
 If you want to use your POP account from your ISP get
 Eudora. Best email
 program going and viruses and the like don't work
 through it. It won't be
 effected by the ones designed to get at your system
 through Outlook and the
 others need your help. You'd have to save the
 attachment and open it for any
 virus to give you a problem.
 
 The lite version used to be a free download, but I
 don't think it is any
 more. You might find a version of that somewhere if you
 do a search from
 google or dogpile. eBay usually has some version or the
 other on the list of
 software for sale.
