Mathematically... (not my strong suit) there are more people on the
planet than ever before, and... well, how many people have lived on this
planet throughout human history? We don't know, our knowledge of history
only goes back a few thousand years, but it is a pretty good guess that the
total number of all our ancestors is less than the current planetary
population. So, everybody has come back!

Ah yes, mathematics. The universal evil. :)

It's true that the population of today is exponentialy larger, but if all
things, that is all matter, is composed of the same underlying energy then
could we argue that population of earth as is, hasnt changed at all
throughout time. Yes, humans are now 7 billion in population or somewhere
about, but how many forests have we wiped out? How many animals are now
extinct? Arent there only 5% remaining tigers on earth as apposed to 40
years ago? I'd rather not think of how many fish we kill on a daily basis.

An even trade I suppose. Our bodies are made from the same elemental matter
as everything else down here so a human born is the equivilant of a human
sacrificed, somewhere else in the energy chain.

Just a thought for myself to chew on. May or may not have any vailidity.
