It is nice that you ask me that question since I have never, up until
now, tried to explain the meaning of projections with my own words. I
will try to explain it at my best in the moment although I am quite
tired and the bed awaits me *grin*

Projections are what you send out, the energy that you send out to
external things.. The energy that you are sending out from your
inner. For example when you think you "are in love" with someone, you
are projecting the love you need to give yourself onto that person.
And an attachment is created with that..

For example,
If you get angry at someone, the anger is coming from an old
emotional memory stored in the cells of your body, triggered by
something in "that person" and awakens it in you,
anger you have for yourself that is needed to be acknowlegded cause
your body wants it to be released, its toxic..
It could be anger that has been projected unto you and that you may
have taken on - inherited, maybe from your parents, or other people
who tried to shape you as a child from their view on themselves..

Also, it is common that people doing healing are projecting their own
need to help themselves onto others.. Often the sender is not aware
of this themselves.. They think someone else is needing help, but the
source of these thoughts is something that is needed to be
acknowledged inside of you..

Now how do you prevent taking them on.. ? By getting to know who you
are, and not what others think you are..

Is this an understandable explanation..
