Subject: [K-list] 14 Suggestions to overcome subconscious explosion
From: rkshankar

On 2002/07/13 04:16, rkshankar posted thus to the K-list:

Dear Kristy

I am suggesting what occurs to me spontaneously.

1 It is not a good idea to stay awake as long as possible.
If sleep overtakes, let it overtake. Because, waking compulsorily weakens
one's conscious mind.
Particularly, when explosions from the subconscious are not controllable by
any known techniques of the conscious mind.

2 If the awareness of the subconscious explosions persists vividly during
the sleeping state,
it means that the sleep and dream states are weakening and waking state is
pressing itself.
So, you must get up consciously, wash yourself and be refreshed completely.
You must not go to sleep again. Otherwise, you will roll over into the
subconscious state.
Strengthening the uncontrollable subconscious explosions into the conscious
state.

3 The 2 techniques of visualising being connected to the cord and the
aura getting grounded
are now not working, at least not as effectively as before.
This is the way the subconscious communicates the need for a new cure to
reorganising itself.
So, let the 2 old techniques slip by and go.

4 That you cannot even walk straight suggests that you need to keep your
spine erect more often
and as a conscious practice. Keep vigil. Keep the spine erect during work,
study and so on.

5 After getting up automatically from sleep, get refreshed and sit with
your spine erect.
Do not recollect the dream and the subconscious explosion in the dreaming
state and in the waking state before sleep.
Breathe diaphragmatically. Relax.
If possible, meditate. Otherwise, do some concrete spiritual work or
reading.

6 When the evening begins, start watching your mind.
When the explosion begins, lightly close your eyes.
Hold your attention lightly over the subconscious mind.
When the consciousness becomes externalized too far away from the body and
too deep down due to subconscious explosions,
gently ask the question 'for whom is the thought?'
The inward attention born of this question will bring the consciousness
closer to the body.
Immediately follow it up with the command for the energy to 'rise up'.
Then, you will actually see the consciousness getting closer and higher.
The spine will automatically become straighter.
Observe it and enjoy the release from subjection.

7 Then, do not persist in this exercise continuously. Leave a small gap.
Then, repeat the exercise with mental attention. You will see the same
thing happening with greater force.

8 During the gaps that you leave, recollect the happenings during these
sessions.
And, strengthen your memory of these releases. This will help you to
counter the
force of memory of the subconscious explosions.

9 When this process weakens, repeat the words 'I am' within yourself for
9 times.
Then, breathe diaphragmatically. Then, repeat the words 'I am' once again
for 9 times.

10 When the repetition settles down, observe wherefrom within you, the
words 'I am' are rising.
Observe this very closely. This will release the energy higher and bring it
closer to the body.

11. Above all, during daily ordinary life, watch your associations.
Your friends, your TV programmes, etc.. who or which may be weakening your
subconscious.

12 Stop planning your future for more than a week.
Stop recapitulating and dwelling over things that happened more than a week
ago.
Stay with your attention focussed on the current week.

13 Grounding the energy up, is the true way of distributing it properly
on and around the body.
Observation of the lower grounding releases it upward and then distributes
it properly on and around the body.
This makes the spine straighter, makes the breathing more regular and keeps
the body vitally alive and energised.

14 The lowering of the energy by subconscious explosion is the striking
of our heel by the serpent.
Observing the serpent amounts to our striking its hood. That way, it rises
up releasing us from our subjection.
This is the straight path to liberation from sense-subjection suggested by
the Old Testament.

May God be with you.

Thanks and kind regards
RK Shankar
