  but, they are not sometimes totally well-they can cause their own
illness, at times.... the call of a shaman is a VERY odd requirement- you
cannot just decide-I am a shaman, and not use the gifts... they will be
removed... and its not a simple matter of throwing a switch and turning
them off-they go fighting and kicking and screaming, making you VERY sick
in the process. This particular
trip is NOT pleasant.

there are 'modes' of healing... and the healer in each has certain
'traits/rules' to abide by... and IMO, being the shaman is THE worst as far
as rules/requirements that must be met. it is dangerous in a way for the
one being healed, but in the shamans case it is also dangerous for the healer.   --Shiva--
