The only thing physical I distinctly remember about my
 awakening was the waves of intense pressure in
my head. There was probably more going on, but I was
too busy being psychically blown away by the process
to notice them.

I knew nothing about Kundalini at the time... I was just
minding my own business, just finished tying my shoes
and was almost out the door to have lunch... then whoosh!
I had what can be described has a near death experience
without being unconscious. It was like entering a parallel
universe, yet keeping my feet plated in this one... well, ok,
that's a matter of opinion, re: the people who witnessed
my psycho-babble spiritual emergency.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to that event, with what
I know now after joining this list, and re-experience it with
my sensors out to feel the different processes that I hear
others talk about.

Then again, what happen then was exactly what was
supposed to happen then. Knowing me, if had a time
machine and couldn't resist the temptation, I'd probably
mess things up big time.

As it is (in the present timeline) I did end up with my own
typically dry, wordy transpersonal web site to snuggle up
with all the other typically dry, wordy transpersonal
web sites.
