  I disagree... Hitler learned his lessons on mass murder from the church.
He was taught by the Jesuit priests quite well,
  On a related note, Hitler killed at best 12-13 million people, whereas
the catholic church killed in the hundreds of million, and the people doing
the killing HAD PERMISSION to do so. it was sanctioned by the pope of the
time, and blessed...
  There were towns in europe that no females were alive, it was only males
that were left, and some had no one under the age of 30 or so. either male
or female.
  the estimated death toll in n and s america was put at over 100 million
people each, and we cannot forget africa, and the native people of that
country. they had, by papal decree, NO souls, and could be killed as one
kills an animal...
so, from my perspective of the last 5,000 or so years, the 'christian
religion has absolutely nothing much to brag about, as far as the fair and
humane treatment of their fellow humans here.
