What's up Doc?

Your poem hit home for me. I was never an actor, but for a couple of years
in college I earned a living as a musician. I learned songs playing in an
"outlaw country band" that I would have never considered learning on my own.
Then after playing these songs a few (hundred) times, their writers'
philosophies began to sink in and I developed an empathy for them. Not that
I neccesarily agreed, (although sometimes I did) but I could begin to see it
from their point of view. In retrospect now it was great practice in
patience. Especially since when I was a kid I DESPISED country music. heheh,
I guess my karma came back to haunt me.

"All the world's indeed a stage
And we are merely players,
Performers and portrayers
Each, anothers audience
Outside the guilded cage"

The other quote, I have hanging on my wall at my ashram. I have it as a
Nelson Mandela quote. I had no idea it was from a commentary on Course In
Miracles.
Thanks for enlightening me.

Love in each moment,

Jason B
