The description of Kriya Yoga study differs depending on what group you study
with. SRF, founded by Parmahansa Yogananda teaches a very slow course and
incorporates some Hatha-like excercises. I study an offshoot of Kriya that
incorporates some other teachings as well, but no physical excercises.

Yoga translates roughly as "union" and Kriya as "divine energy". Thus Kriya
yoga translates and "union with divine energy". Hatha yoga is a set of
excercises, one of whose effects is to prepare the body to be able to handle
the union with divine energy. Reiki attunements help a lot here as well.

Sincerely,

Jason B
