Dear Brett,

Delighted you finally delurked! :))

>Dear Hillary: Me too! Now that I'm "out" after so long it feels real good!!
Better than i imagined.

It's interesting how many of us need confirmation. Doubt seems to come
with Kundalini territory! :)) Even Krishnamurti and Gopi Krishna felt
doubt at one time or another. K is such a strange phenomena! And there are
so many different reasons for us to doubt--among them the feeling that we
are not worthy

>I can relate to this on some level! I lurked for so long because i felt that i
did not want ot presume that i was K awakened. Given the similarity of my
Pentecostal background i originally thought that these experiences might be
the "remembered" legacy of those roots. My experiences have been for the
most part positive. No pain, or great discomfort.

When we are older we know for a fact that something really extraordinary is
happening, because we have years of "ordinary" experience to compare it
with!

>I like this idea alot!! So very true. Like Richard Bach says,
"Perspective...use it or lose it."

Your experiences are absolutely such classic K! -- From the spiritual
searching (which often triggers K) to the "Shaktipat" experience of the
Pentecostal church :)) To say nothing of your powerful "freight train"
description!

>Cool! One thing that has always caused question for me was that i have always
had a certain amount of control over my k experiences. Nothing that i
couldn't pull myself out of if i wanted to. I've read so many accounts of
folks who were seemingly powerless over their k process. What do you make of
this????

The wonderful thing about K is it really does bridge the gap of all
religions, because virtually all religions are originally based on the K
phenomena IMO.

Ditto!

> Was this an
>awakening, a partial awakening, a prelude to k awakening, or just running
>prana or chi? I still don't know that I feel sure about it in my mind.

Well, I hereby dub you K active! LOLOL But then you knew that already!
:))

THANX!! You are such a doll! I'll take the dubbing.

Just K doing its thing.

>I now see this "tight" feeling in my pelvis might be kriyas and that I don't
>need to shun them but rather work with them to see if I can't loosen the
>blockages. Does that make any sense?

Yes. Sometimes the sexual nature of the kriyas worry people--especially
those with a strong Christian background.

>Hmmm. That's interesting and on the $$. Mucho sexual guilt in the Pentecostal
church. Here i was 16 years old and told that not only was premarital sex a
sin but so was auto-eroticism. QWith all those hormones raging i was doomed
to failure and way massive guilt. Pretty damaging i must say.

>I look forward to being a more active
>participant.

After reading so many of your posts its great to finally write 2 u myself
and hear back from you.

Love you too.
