I agree with your assessment of validation and approval wholeheartedly. I
believe that wanting approval is a major source of negative feelings and
emotions for all humanity. Along with wanting control and security (the
other 2 bugaboos). (These are basic tenets of The Sedona Method.) I'm trying
diligently to let go wanting all of these.

I hadn't made the Doubting Thomas connection b4 but i like it.
Interestingly, Thomas is my middle name.

Thanks on expounding on your advice to read my post out loud. I was
wondering where you were going with that. It makes sense to me and i will
try it.
