Or, Christopher, that your "mind" isn't simply in your head! Deepak Chopra discusses this very thing in his book, Ageless Body, Timeless Mind. He goes into a bit of a different discussion related to the mind in his How To Know God book, which, BTW, is a very good book for the person who asked the question regarding "The Big Picture."
