That is really intresting thanks for sharing :) they do seem to have there own intelligence since I started seeing them I have found several sites with pictures of exactly what I see so it is really reassuring also :)

  What you describe reminds me of phenomena reported by fighter pilots during WWII. The balls were called Foo Fighters and from what I gather they sometimes accompanied them kinda like dolphins in the bow wave of a ship. Sounds very interesting.

  A friend of mine was training to become a pipe bearer, and was returning from the mountains (this was in Alberta, Canada) after being to a sweat lodge after dark. She said she saw a similar phenomena accompanying her car, except that it was cigar shaped and moving along beside the car in the ditch (Alberta ditches are wide and gently sloped).
