hi folks,

i have a friend who is having some serious anxiety about nuclear bombs
falling on LA on July 4. I included her message below, and my initial
response, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to be
supportive in this situation.

Hi Melissa,

hoo boy I have been there, slipping into the apacolypse, the end of society
as we know it, dreams of 10,000 bombs being droped from airplanes and
nuclear bomb that went off right in front of me and everyone everywhere
dying simultaneously, the constant anxiety...

it helps to create a womb inside of yourself, a place of your eternity and
safety, and to rest there, surrender the anxiety to god-dess, it is not
serving you

the future is not set, there are many possibilities, and often apocalyptic
anxious psychic experiences are a reflection of our own egos dying (the ego
often feels this as the end of the world, or as an impulse to suicide)

i wish you peace. it is so hard to experience what you are feeling...it is
easier to be dead actually :) even if you are living.
