Subject: [K-list] Does anyone know anything about Falun Dafa / Falun Gong?

After searching the archives on 'Falun' I have found next to no
references on this which I thought was unusual given the amount of
publicity this has received in China and other parts of the World.

 

I am particularly interested to hear from anyone who has experience of
Falun Dafa and how it may relate to Kundalini. I am also interested to
hear if anyone knows whether the exercises are beneficial to balancing
energies and releasing blockages.

 

I had an opportunity to try this about 1.5 years ago but when I turned
up to the venue it had been changed and I never got around to trying
again and after moving back to the UK I have not heard anything about it
except from the newspapers. Something recently just spurred my mind on
this again so I thought I'd ask the question.

 

I realise some consider this to be a cult or sect and their motives are
not 100% genuine. I don't know myself how true this is. I think there
has to be something of value in it or it would not have got such a
reputation for itself and so many devotees.

 

Well hope someone can shed some light..
