    Just to let some folks know... there is a new virus out, that "spoofs"
the "from field" by putting in an address from the infected person's
address book so the mail looks like it is coming from someone else.
    For example, in this mail it appears that I have sent myself a virus,
until you look in the extended headers and see the AOL address where it is
really coming from.

  I have dozens of email addresses and seem to be in a lot of people's
address books, so I have already deleted more copies of this than I care to
count! One of my students was infected... but I am not. I use Eudora not
outlook, and do not open attachments. If you get an attachment that
appears to come from me, don't open it! .. don't open it anyways...
