hi folks,

here in USA where most of alien movie/tv hype began, we express our fears of
being invaded, taken over and enslaved by a technologically advanced race
coming in their ships... it is just too similar to the way we invaded the
Native American population here to ignore the parallel... and Europe is
where the invaders to the Americas and undeveloped continents came from...
so perhaps part of the fear is our own cultural shadow coming back to haunt
us...
