I'll try MAS, opening my eyes isn't easy. boy.. just communicating with you
drives my ego into overdrive. I do the same exact thing with this other guy
on another list.. I mentioned before. Except with him the polarity is
different. I do it also with this guy who comes into our spiritual insights
chat on aol. although he's less threatening than either of you.. he's just a
jerk really.
They all have one thing in common. Extreme confidence in themselves. It
doesn't matter if they're "right" which logic dictates is a futile concept
for humans to approach eachother with since nobody can be anyone except who
they are.
I was going to write this before but I erased it.
From the moment I saw who you were I wanted to tear your world apart, tear it

here's the affirmation I wrote, I called it "safety for earth" it felt good
to write it, because it's what I've been wanting to say for a long time, even
if the two it was addressed to wouldn't understand.. it's just something I
needed to say to help me feel better about ME

a noble effort Jason, but I think it would be easier to simply pay attention
to how well we are loving ourselves and everything around us with tender
loving care and compassion, keep it simple, of course, don't let me rain on
your parade or stop you from having fun, just don't come crying to me when
you find you've added a heap of unneeded head-scratching to the agenda
Now that you mention it, I pay attention the similiar syncronicities that I
have between myself and other people, I acknowledge them, but pay no more
mind to them than to simply think about them for a while, not write them down
and get really microscopic with that, you wouldn't get microscopic with a
road sign would you? The message is pretty simple and clear, "stay right",
"road curves ahead", "deer crossing" doesn't take alot of contemplation
to those of you listening out there, be wary of over analyzing "signs", like
I have done,... the universe will start to send you bad signals if you start
to listen to it as a first voice instead of your heart, I know this from
experience, heart is #1, nothing else matters, really! Trust your heart!

Next time someone asks you how you would respond to anger, try this, "I would
be open to hear their story but careful not to allow them to pull me down
with them" That will sound alot more sensible to a psychologist. The other,
the one you mentioned, just sounds like a great excuse not to listen to
anyone. The logic, "you're mad at me, therefore you are just sucker I don't
have to hear out" doesn't fly. In the United States we have a saying, United

try this, when you answer their questions, throw away all the precepts, all
the learned knowledge, all the "way it should be" 's and just speak naturally
from your heart, the way you would if you'd never had heard any of this
philosophy crap. If that's what you are already doing, then try this.. put
yourself in their shoes. Take a few moments to think about what they want to
hear, and why they want to hear it. It's not all that impossible to let a dog
have it's bone, believe it or not, your openness and compassion will mean a
great deal to them, subconsciously they will feel "a person like *this* is
being nice? and sane?" and will feel great security because you opted to bend
a little for them and acknowledge *their* reality. You don't have to feel
like you are subjugating your truth to them, truth isn't won through
arguments, if you have the truth, you'll know it is the truth regardless of
whether you convince Dr. 5 step plan..and you know, when it's right for him,
he'll crash and burn, and if you think a little more, that's a sad story, not
a happy one, a fledgling soul's tribulation, can you see the divine innocence
in Dr. 5 step plan?

we can't set the bar so high they can't reach it, they'll be forced to
respond in the only way they know how.. brute force. The rules for the
special olympics aren't the same as the rules for the full on olympics are
they? So you can't demand that they play at your level,.. if they are
inherantly good people, they will be willing to meet a comprimise. Afterall,
they aren't dragging you out of your house to be burned at the stake. This IS
afterall the the same world where that was happening not 200 years ago.
PS, To MAS and the list. I can only give you what I can give you. I can't do
better than my best. So when my words fall short of your tastes. It's all our
