Greetings All,

Kristena's comment touched me deeply and set me on a train of thought, not
just on tattoos but on anything we place into or even near our bodies. The
left brain interprets symbols so choosing a tattoo or peircing or even a
piece of jewelry may have a powerful affect on our psyche even if we're
unaware of it. I have a strong background in Paganism and Wicca and though
they don't state it in these exact terms, the end result is still the same.
Choose symbols that have meaning relating to those things that you wish to
bring into your life. If you get a huge dragon tattooed on your chest what
are you telling yourself. If you get a rose on your ankle, what are you
saying to the left brain. What's the message of a silver skull necklace or a
fluorite earing? I'm not making a judgement here about what each person's
answer is, merely asking you to take a minute to be objective about what
messages you put in your brain. Each person might have a different answer
for the same symbol. Choose wisely.
