Hello! I got a tattoo when I turned 18 which was a very turbulant time in my life this tattoo has great meaning for me even now 8 years later in a very new time of my life one where I have more direction. I got a rose on my ankle and this symbolizes me alot on the outside there were thorns that could hurt but once you get past the thorns there is a flower that can bloom I love what this means to me I will always have that memory of who I was and who I am now it still represents me in a lot of ways I still have a great tendancy to block others from really knowing the true me very few people get to the flower. I have never noticed any energy fluctuations at this spot it seems pretty much normal as far flow goes and still looks as bright and pretty as ever and I will never feel silly when I am old about having a symbolic time of my life to remember even when or if it is faded I will love it very much I love every thing about myslef.
