Subject: [K-list] Steve: K and exercise

Hi Steve,

I am in my 11th year of very active k process and find the physical/physiological changes continue unabated, although they are more subtle and less disruptive than in the first 7 or 8 years. I am not sure I understand what experiences you are having that create the idea that exercise will inflame the nadis. I have found exercise to be very helpful and indeed a good and necessary tool to keep the k process from being too overwhelming. It helps to clear the body and keep me grounded in the body. I run or swim almost daily and can feel the energy move through the chakras, which seem to become very charged and open through exercise. On the other hand, for years after the onset of k and sort of spiritual exercise like hatha yoga, which you mentioned in your earlier post, accelerated k too much, promoting transcendent states that the body had a very difficult time assimilating. It is only recently that I have been able to resume some yoga moderate hatha yoga practice.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies on info on K.i am still a bit confused though.i
agree that the the k energy is never over but the actual physical or
physiological changes to the body do finish at a certain time.i think
Gopi Krishna's process took twelve years.but i could be wrong.
In reply to Grant.i dont see as how you can do running while
undergoing this physical change as the excessive use of muscles would
cause the nadis to be irritated or inflamed by physical exercise.i
know i have tried an experiment with an old laptop computer and
holding it in my left hand and then moving it to the right hand a
number of times over a minute or so i can cause a release of
endorphins to my body followed by tightness and inflammation to my
neck which seems to cause the throat chakra to shut down along with
any chakras above the neck.it may then take a lot of breathing to help
to release the blocked energy.running would cause all the chakras to
shutdown except for the root chakra which in my case would become
excessively inflamed.perhaps you are passed the formation of chakras
or nadis process.also you would get tightness in the back due to
running as i experience the same problems if i walk too far a
distance and then you would need a lot of breathing to clear this
blockage.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this Grant and from others also.

thanks
Steve J
