Good summary.

Just a bit more about Shushumna (also Susumna in some books). That is the
key nadi. It is in fact a sort of coax-nadi, like a coaxial cable, with
several nadis inside, each within a slightly larger out one. Only by raising
K through Sumsumna or one of the inner nadis can one have a stable rising
and ultimately attain enlightenment.

Each of the nadis have different characteristics in the way the risings
progress. This is one of the reasons why, even in healthy risings, some
people get great dramas, others have milder and simpler experiences.

I believe the author was referring to the "bundle" rather than just one of
them, the outer one. Bhrama Nadi is certainly more important than either Ida
or Pingala in the spiritual relm. It is only through Bhrama Nadi that K can
reach the Bindhu point. And only by reaching Bindhu can we become
enlightened. Normally K takes Bindhu from the top of Ajana Chakra. It is
extremely rare for K to take that nadi from the root chakra, it is just too
difficult to "hit" at that point.

Namaste,

Joe .
