An article I read some time ago called 'The Eyes of Ra' or something to that
affect, mentioned clicking or popping within the head as a result of the
opening of the third eye. More specifically it said stated the popping
occurs when the pineal gland and pituitary gland begin to resonate in
unison. (ie when the frequencys of the subtle body and physical body are
one?)
It mentioned this occuring when one attempts to astral project, although I
don't understand that myself, since as I understand it the astral body is
just another veichle like the physical body. So the two arent joining when
you project but are seperating ?
Anyways just some more thoughts for you to ponder.

Hello Jayant.

Yes, this clicking--tapping--morse--code--stuff is definately not in the
ears. It comes from deep in the center of the head. One of my kriya yoga
teachers said that it is probably the pineal gland responding to the
stimulation of the Prana. This has only happened a couple of times with me.
This would seem to be a positive indicator of progress.
