Don't forget that the Snake is pictured in the Bible Genesis 3:1 if I
can remember, where he tells Eve to eat the Forbidden Fruit.

In the mayan calendar, the Serpent has to do with wisdom, kundalini,
vitality, passion, etc. It is also associated with life-force, which is
not what kundalini is all about?
