All,

The most enrapturing female voice I ever heard was in Pink Floyd's "The Great
Gig In the Sky". She was a backup singer, don't have her name, but every time
I listen to it I get chills.

 - Sarah McLachlan, singing "Hold On" from The Freedom Sessions
 - Phoebe Snow, singing "Something Real"
 - Melissa Etheridge, singing "Like the Way I Do"
 - The Indigo Girls, singing "Ghost"
 - Joni Mitchell, singing "Blue"
