Hi everyone...
Perhaps a bit of explaination of the Tibetan meanings of words may help in deciphering a comprehensible appeal to our intellects.
As you can see (and I believe Mrs. Squitty's familiar with this and hopefully will lend assistance if I screw up) there are many different aspects/views to the meanings of words in Tibetan. Where "bag-chags" might mean 'karmic impressions' to one person in a conversation, the guy next door may use it in his conversational context to mean 'habitual tendencies'. In a general sense, it means almost the same thing, whereas in a contextual sense, it means something entirely different. In short, the meaning of the term is rendered in the context of the person expressing it. However it fits most comfortably into YOUR own experience, is the contextual interpretation it should take on for you. Then in a different conversation say, tomorrow, you can use the same word to create a different context all together. Your understanding of the word or words, can evolve overnight, so that today you use the same word in a conversation and imply a slightly different twist to it for a deeper or different meaning. The context is perceived in your method of expression by the person or persons you are communicating with. (same crayon, different picture)
In Tibetan society, the dynamics of 'K' are inherent in their language. It has become as much a part of their lives as juice or coffee in the morning is for us. Over the centuries they've developed what I see as 'a dynamic conservation of words and language'. In short, the language itself is alive!
Love and Bless All, all Ways
