When I thought that I was going crazy when K. first erupted, El Collie wrote
me several personal messages via snail mail that I read over and over. She
was my link to sanity. She took time for me despite her difficulites. Such
gratitude wells up in me for her attention during those times. I shed tears
as I write this, even though I know that death is ok. We did not have a
''relationship,' just those few letters, but, oh, I shall miss her, oh, I
shall miss her...didn't know how much until Angelique's announcement.
