That's sad to hear. I found this through ST and exchanged
uplifting e mails with her. She had a sharp-edge sense of humor and
reminded me of an old Berkley beat nick, slightly at odds with
the hippie, new age and internet K movements that came later.

After El left this list, she and a fellow in England started one
up that was purely for enlightened wise-cracking. (and people
who might have read too many books, found out too much
about themselves.... and just can't take it all too seriously).

Good-bye, El, I'll always love you.
