Subject: [K-list] TRIANGLES

Hi,

As I told you the other day, one of my probably k-related experiences
involved seeing a red glowing triangle floating over my head and moving
ahead. I even told you I mistook if for a "flat UFO" until I related that to
the kundalini.

Anybody else saw a k-related triangle?

I was really surprised when I read what René Guénon says about the kundalini
in "Estudios sobre el Hinduismo". I'll translate part of it:

"Kundalini is a Shakti aspect considered as cosmic force: one might say it's
this very force seen as residing in the human being, in whom it acts as a
vital force..."
Shakti is, so to speak, the passive, potential "divine aspect" in us, Each
chakra represents one of those aspects ( each stands for a manifestation of
Shakti ) and each chakra/aspect corresponds to a deity, a mantra ( sound
symbol ) and a yantra ( geometric symbol ).

He goes on:

"Kundalini, while in its resting state, resides in the muladhara chakra,
which is... the center "located" at the bottom of the spinal cord, the root
( mula) of sushumna and all the nadis. There is located the triangle
(trikona) named Traipura, which is the resting place of Shakti
 Shakti-pitha)."
That is, Traipura is the muladara yantra ( geometric symbol ).

"Above ajna ( Caio: the third eye ) there are secondary chakras denominated
manas and soma, and in the very beginning of the sahasrara (Caio: the chakra
at the top of the head ) there's a 12-petal lotus, which contains the
Kamakala, the supreme triangle, which is the Shakti mansion. Shabdabrahma,
that is, the "causal" and non-manifested sound state (shabda), is
represented by Kamakala, which is the root (mula) of all mantras, and has
its inferior correspondence ( which may be seen as its reflex in the earthly
manifestation ) in the muladhara Traipura triangle."

In other words, the triangle symbol is intimately related with the kundalini
awakening, both at its very beginning and its apex. That was a great,
unexpected confirmation of my experience as being kundalini-related. I
wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Best wishes,

Caio
