here's an approximation of something i wrote on the phenomenon of wobbly
kneed breathlessness in the presence of the divine feminine (i don't have
the actual words with me so i had to recreate from memory):

The rain bleeds when I peak
And I am pained by your beauty
Overtaking me, rushing through me
Radioactive, red,
Flooding my head, my throat, my heart
Surging up my stem
Spilling forth from my mortality
Until I evaporate
Stepping into an auricular lake, a cavern sea
Seen by none but lore
Forlorn legend quests your secret shore
I live inside of captivation
I live inside desire
Standing under a moon rise
On a roof, in a trance
Knowing that you watch me
While I dance myself to nothing
