On 2002/04/05 22:19, Lbra782595 posted thus to the K-list: Hey Shelle,

I don't know if the arm and leg movements could actually be considered
kriyas or not. I have had K move me into some awkward ( and relatively
embarrasing) yoga postures. I am sure that the movements are a result of K
trying to clear blockages of some kind. Kriyas usually refer to muscular
contractions in the torso and neck allowing the K energy to rise to the top
of the head. I would think it equally likely that K would need to send
energies to other parts of the body as well to clear blockages there also. I
practice kriya yoga in which the goal is to clear blockages in advance and
then invite K to rise. My K had gone active several times before I studied
kriya yoga and the postures I have since studied in kundalini yoga are very
similar to the ones K put me in spontaneously. And please don't
misunderstand kriya yoga is a meditation technique; kundalini yoga is an
actual exercising and stretching technique used to physically stimulate and
facilitate the rising K energy.

I hope you find some of this useful.

Jason
