And to top it all off with whipped cream and a cherry, here's my truth:

I don't believe there's such a thing as a one-size-fits-all diet. Some
people thrive as vegan rawfooders while others gradually deteriorate on
that diet. Some people thrive as carnivores while other people suffer
endless digestive woes on that diet.

My own belief is that bodies *are* "set up" (and can also be conditioned
and programmed). If a person finds that they (like me) feel healthiest when
eating a dozen eggs a week, that's not necessarily conditioning and
programming. It could just be how their individual body functions best.

I thrive beautifully on a diet of a dozen hard boiled eggs per week and
mostly raw fruits and vegetables as the balance of my diet but I don't
expect it to be the best, healthiest diet for anyone else. My lover cannot
physically function without much more animal protein than I eat. Human
bodies are individual and miraculous. (And I believe that listening to the
whisperings (and shouts!) of one's kundalini will pretty much clue a person
in to what they need to be putting in their bodies at any particular phase
in their life.

An interesting site that offers a great deal of information about why a
vegetarian "detox" diet-style is beneficial to some but harmful to others
is http://www.beyondveg.com . Tons of information there for those, like me,
endlessly intrigued by human nutritional needs and dietary principles.

Love,
Magdalene
