Hi Ron

I read that it is a combination of previous spiritual growth ( other lives )
grace and a desire for knowing God that borders on obsession.Karma plays a
role in this also. The disciplines and practices are to facilitate readiness
and speed spiritual evolution. What would happen if you had a redneck
attitude and K woke --- pretty scary thought-- I think that the mental
conflict would cause insanity. Also it is dependant on your spiritual
vibrations that come from thought patterns, karma and blockages from
emotional injuries. If these are not cleared in preparation, then the
physical aspects can be intense and very dangerous.
